AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Orders Second Season — Before the First Even Airs!

AMC probably thinks that America will soon get over the vampire addiction and so it is investing in zombies! Yes, we are talking about AMC’s new series, ’The Walking Dead.’ The satellite TV show has not yet been aired on DISH Network and AMC has sealed the deal to renew it for a 13-episode second season. The show is to air on AMC on October 31- the Halloween! Good choice of airdate, you must admit that!
The satellite TV show is based on Robert Kirkman’s black and white monthly comic series. It revolves around a group of people who are struggling to survive after a zombie apocalypse. But , isn’t that every zombie storyline?
In the Comic Con this year the viewers went gaga over the trailer of the satellite TV show and the internet viewer response too was great! That is probably the reason why AMC has renewed this series.
The first season of ‘The Walking Dead’ will be show in the backdrop of Atlanta summer. The second season is also expected to follow the source material’s storyline in which the characters are going to struggle in the winter.
If you have seen the trailer of ‘The Walking Dead’ already, you must be knowing that the show looks incredibly lucrative!
