Watch 2010 US Open Tennis championships on DISH Network

2010 US Open Tennis Championship

Hey guys, hold your   breath for here comes 2010 US Open Tennis championships! US Open 2010 has began from Monday, August 30, 2010 in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. And you will be  able  to watch  this  international Tennis event which  is one of the four Grand Slams  on DISH Network  in  DISH HD  mode. So watch out for it!

In 2010 US Open Tennis championship, Rafael Nadal will be the top ranking Men’s Singles player. On the other hand, defending champion Juan Martin del Potro will be out of this tournament owing to wrist injury. World No. 1 Women’s Singles player Serena Williams and former champion Justine Henin won’t be playing due to foot as well as elbow injuries. As a result Caroline Wozniacki will be the top seeded Women’s Singles Player.

The 14 day long Tennis event has began from August 30 with first round matches. The event will reach its finals on September 12, 2010 with the Men’s Final. Like previous years, the US Open 2010 Tennis championship includes five categories – two singles category: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles; and three Doubles categories: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. Apart from this, junior’s championship as well as championship of Wheelchair will also take place. The event will be telecast live on Tennis Channel, ESPN and CBS.

Enjoy NFL Preseason: Steelers vs Broncos on FOX

Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. Denver Broncos in NFL Preseason

Sunday night the Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Denver to face the Broncos in  the NFL preseason. The Broncos  will host  the steelers and will look  forward  to get  their  first win in the preseason. You  can  watch the  game NFL Preseason: Steelers vs Broncos on FOX at 8PM ET.  The match  seems  to be the most interesting match this season. Broncos have lost  its first two preseason games due to injuries and a soft defense. They  have  allowed as many  as 58 points in the two games where  they  faced the Detroit Lions as well as the Cincinnati Bengals.

In this  satellite TV match  the Broncos will be shorthanded as they will be without first-round wideout Demaryius Thomas (has  a foot injury) and pass rusher Elvis Dumervil (pectoral injury).Running back Knowshon Moreno (suffering from hamstring injury) and quarterback Tim Tebow (ribs injury) may  not play in the preseason game due to the injury. However, Tebow resumed practice on Wednesday. Josh McDaniels said “We’ll see how Tim does (in practice). He’s still pretty sore and there are some things that I don’t think he can really do effectively at this point. But we’ve got a few more days before the game. We’d love for him to play.

Tebow also said  that  he is up for the challenge: “I feel range of motion has been good, so now it’s just the next thing is contact,” he said.

Kyle Orton at quarterback is  going to be the  brigth spot for broncos. He has completed 24-of-35 passes for 261 yards along with four touchdowns as well as an interception.

On the other  hand, the Steelers have declaired that they will start Ben Roethlisberger against the Broncos. He will be closely followed by Dennis Dixon.

The Steelers too have a few injuries as well. Cornerback Bryant McFadden (pectoral injury) may not play, and safety Ryan Clark  is also uncertain about  playing.
