Who Won ‘Dancing With The Star?’ It’s Nicole Scherzinger

Didn’t we tell you that Nicole Scherzinger is going to win the mirror ball trophy in ‘Dancing with the Stars’? And guess what? There was hardly any flaw in our prediction. It was the PussyCat Doll indeed. She is the one who will take the mirror ball trophy home from the popular satellite TV dance reality show- ‘Dancing with the Stars’ which airs on DISH Network channel ABC. She deserves it totally!!!
Though many have pinned their hopes on gold medalist Olympian Figure Skater Evan Lysacek, he became close runner up in the satellite TV show. Sports reporter Erin Andrews finished third. Well, everyone thought that it would be a Nicole vs. Evan finale and they were right.
Nicole said that DWTS was a great experience for her. “My shins are torn up and my legs look wretched but I feel awesome, I’ve got a great spirit and I’m really excited,” she said. Nicole also told that she was, “surprised” because she never thought that she could do ballroom dancing. So, she finds it really nice to be able to jump into something that’s really scary and still be able to surprise herself.
Teamed up with two-times DWTS winner (including the latest) Derek Hough, Nicole gave a number of mind blowing performances. Their duo was a great one. “Everybody’s been amazing, I’m so happy,” said Derek after winning. Nicole just screamed in glee!
Evan, the runner up of the DISH TV reality show said, “It’s been such a blast. We were totally satisfied with everything we gave in these last few weeks.” he also said, “And we’re so proud of Nicole and Derek. They worked so hard and they deserve it.”
Erin too had nothing but praises for the satellite TV show. “I just wanted to be myself again … and you guys have been amazing and my family — and this one [Maksim] — has just put my life back together,” she said.
In the finale a number of eliminated contestants also take place. Pamela Anderson, Jake Pavelka and even Kate Gosselin did a fairly good job. (Hey! I am not supporting Kate’s Paparazzi act. But it was at least watchable) It was really a memorable night.
Happy for Nicole? Sad for Evan? Share your feelings with us!
