Drop Dead Diva - Season 2 Premiere
Guys you know what? The much anticipated season 2 series of ‘Drop Dead Diva’ is about to premiere on Sunday, June 6 on DISH Network Hallmark Channel. The show has been considered as one of the hit series of 2009. It is a one hour comic drama that chronicles the life of a beautiful but snobbish wanna be model who dies a fatal death in an unfortunate car accident. Due to divine intervention and sudden twist of fate her soul gets resurfaced into the body of an over-weight lawyer, recently diseased.

At the beginning of the Season 1 series, we meet the pretty looking Deb (Brooke D’Orsay), who meets with a tragic accident and dies. She is surprised to find herself in Heaven where she pleads the gate keeper Fred (Ben Feldman) to send her back to her mortal life. But, by mistake her soul gets reledated into the body of Jane Bingum (Brooke Elliott) an attorney who is also diseased. Deb is furious but has no other choice.

Jane is an intelligent, ambitious, over-weight attorney who is pretty much focused in life. But unfortunately for Debs, she lacks those qualities. Deb is a beauty without brains. She has always given importance to her external beauty and has never used her brain. But now she has to. But how far will she be successful?

Towards the end of Season 1 series we find that Deb is ready to forget what happened in the past and tries to adapt herself with this new life.

The viewers definitely had a great time watching the season 1 series and they will surely have a jolly good time watching the season 2 episodes on their DISH TV in stunning HD mode.

Season 2 begins, featuring entertainer Paula Abdul (of ‘American Idol’). She will be playing the role of Judge Paula Abdul, a figment of Jane’s subconscious. David Denman and Devon Gummersall will give a guest appearance this season . The premier episode will begin with a musical dream sequence, choreographed by Keith “Tyce” Diorio of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

If you think you might be missing the premier episode, you need not have to worry at all. You can watch the episode by recording it with your Satellite TV DVR that will record the episode at your set time.
