‘Little People, Big World’ Is To Air Its Sixth and Final Season

Are you a fan of the Roloff family for the past five seasons of ‘Little People, Big World’ on TLC? Then there is a somewhat sad news for you! The 6th season of the satellite TV show on DISH Network is going to be its last show! In the show you have watched Matt and Amy Roloff both little people, as well as their four children — the Jacob, Molly, Jeremy and little person Zach dealing with their daily lives on the big Roloff Farms and the outside world. Sadly, in a press release on late Thursday evening, TLC made it clear that the sixth season of ‘Little People, Big World‘ is going to be its last.
The show premiered in 2006 and has been a ratings hit for the satellite TV channel ever since. The show focuses mostly on Matt and Amy in the beginning of the show but later tthe activities of Zach and Jeremy the twins got the limelight. In the fifth season, the post-high school graduation trip to Europe of the boys as well as Zach’s activities at the World Dwarf Games also got a good amount of attention.
The Roloffs have hit the headlines a number of times. In 2006, Jacob and Mike Detjen, a family friend were severely injured when a pumpkin catapult prematurely launched. In 2007, Matt was caught on DUI charges. As a result he lost his driver’s license for three whole years!
According to Matt’s statement, he himself has taken the decision to end the show and it’s not a decision of TLC. However, he gave no reason for ending the same. It can be his health issues like bouts of vertigo that hit him at the end of season 5 of the reality show!
The sixth and final season of the satellite TV show ‘Little People, Big World’ will premiere on September 6 at 8PM. You can have a great time watching the show on DISH Network.

I’m so sorry to see the show ending. I’ve enjoyed spending my evenings with Matt and Amy and the kids. I’ve so enjoyed watching their Pumpkin Farm grow. Matt the Idea Guy has such wonderful dream. I hope there will come a day or time they decide to come back and share with us again. I feel so sad every time I watch each of the shows now, knowing they are ending soon.
