Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards 2010At the 23rd annual Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, it was Taylor all the way. On March 27, Taylor Lautner of Twilight fame and the popular female singer Taylor Swift won the awards. Lautner also got one orange blimp trophy from the children’s television network for being “cutest couple” with Kristen Bell – the Twilight couple. The favorite movie actress award went to Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana fame. On March 31 she will appear in The Last Song. In the show she will not appear in her TV role as “Hannah Montana,” but for a story by Nicholas Sparks named Dear John, The Notebook.

The ceremony in Los Angeles was a great one. In the ceremony singer Justin Bieber and pop star Rihanna gave dazzling performances. 115 million kids voted for the winners of the show online. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel won the award for best movie. On the other hand Selena Gomez and Dylan Sprouse bagged the awards for favorite TV actor and actress.

Black Eyed Peas won the award for the favorite music group. While Jay-Z won the award for the male singer. Taylor Swift’s song “You Belong With Me” also became the favorite song. The Big Help Award went US First Lady Michelle Obama for her “Let’s Move!” program which urge the kids to be more active and to eat healthy.
