Season 2 Premiere of ‘Being Human’ on BBC America

Tell me guys, have you ever had any interaction with a ghost or a werewolf or a vampire? Never? If you really want to meet all three of them together then you must watch the hit supernatural dramedy series ‘Being Human’ broadcasted on BBC America on DISH Network. After a successful Season 1, the season 2 series will be premiering soon on Staurday, July 24, 2010 sharp at 10pm EST.

‘Being Human’ highlights the extraordinary lifestyles of three twenty-something ‘humans’ revealing their secret double lives as a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost. This exciting series chronicles their struggles to lead a normal life despite their dark sinister secrets.

Who are these three extraordinary people?

John Mitchell (Aidan Turner) – Mitchell is a good looking handsome hunk who is very good at glib talking and pretty much popular among ladies. He is a vampire who wants to stop his diet of blood that he is so addicted to in order to lead a normal human life. At the same time he wishes to control the vampire world after the death of Herrick, the vampire leader and he wishes to lead the rest of his fellow vampires to lead a normal life as well.

George (Russell Tovey) – The loveable George, besides being a hospital porter, battles with his double identity as a werewolf. He gets transformed into a flesh-hungry werewolf once every month. In season two George is accepting the fact that he will be having Herrick’s blood on his hands, as well as the blood of his girlfriend who knows his horrifying secret.

Annie (Lenora Crichlow) – Meet the ghost Annie who haunts the house where she used to stay with her fiancé Owen when she was alive. Towards the end of the season one she refused to enter through the door of death in order to help Mitchell who had been injured. In a way this is going to impact her current position. However in season two you will see that her confidence level has reached its zenith and she has strongly made up her mind to make a difference.

In season two a bigger danger is lurking behind the trio from the human world. The mysterious Professor Jaggat along with her colleague Kemp, have come to know about the true identity of John, George and Annie and are determined to carry out brutal experiments to destroy them.

‘Doctor Who’ Season 5 Premiere on BBC America

Guys have you met Doctor Who? Haven’t yet? Well then meet the Doctor before it is too late as the Season 5 Finale episode is soon arriving on Saturday, July 24, 2010. The finale episode will be broadcasted on BBC America on DISH Network sharp at 9/8c.

Doctor Who (played by Matt Smith) is an eccentric but sympathetic time lord who travels through time and space in his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space). Initially his job was to observe, record, but never did he interfere. This disturbs him a lot and flees from home, the planet of Gallifrey in his technological marvel, his spaceship, TARDIS.
