Watch Season Premiere of Survivor: Redemption Island on CBS

To tell you in details, in this Survivor season 22 titled Survivor: Redemption Island twist is introduced which is unique in this show. It is filmed at Nicaragua and as the show unfolds 18 castaways will be segregated into two tribal groups: the Ometepe Tribe and the Zapatera Tribe. You will see enough stuff to get you rooted to your seat! Following the rule of any game show the contestants will be voted off at Tribal Council, but they will not be sent home. Instead of being terminated from the show they will go to Redemption Island. At this new Survivor series, for the contestants, life at Redemption Island will be same as living with the tribe. Here too the Survivor Redemption Island contestants have to sustain on limited resource .And with the arrival of second contestant on the Island there will be a duel challenge between the duo! Guys it is similar to that MTV’s hit ‘Challenge’ shows.

The duel winner remains on Redemption Island while the loser leaves the show forever.  Winning in the duel acts a trump card to gain entry in the game once to compete for Survivor: Redemption Island’s $1,000,000 prize along with the other contestants.

This re entry of contestant at Survivor: Redemption Island schedule is not a new concept. In previous Survivor: Pearl islands season’s ‘Outcast tribe’ part, the voted off contestants also returned to the show. However it proved to be a blunder as the Outcast twist was not revealed to the players before hand. But this season the contestants will know everything. And this time it will be a better one as, according to Jeff Probst, the dashing Survivor: Redemption Island host. In fact this duel challenge and returning of the cast will have a direct impact on the way the tribes will vote out the members who still are part of the main game.  This will certainly give the players a chance to mend their previous mistakes like going for wrong alliance or poor voting system at Tribal Council.

That Survivor Redemption Island cast is an outstanding one is an open secret. And they will create drama and all the shouting and howling, is expected. All the fresh new 16 new contestants of Survivor: Redemption Island will be joined by two familiar faces namely Boston Rob Mariano and Russell Hantz who are well known for their rivalry from previous Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains series? • Ashley Underwood, a 25-year-old nurse and former Miss Maine USA from Benton, ME

2011 Grammy Winners: Esperanza Spalding as Best New Artist whips shock

Guys, 2011 Grammy Winners night was full of shocks and surprises with all the newbie musicians capturing spotlight. And the veterans definitely get a back seat. Aired live on CBS from Staples Center, LA, at 53^rd Annual Grammy Awards 2011, the viewers have witnessed how usual predictions went topsy-turvy. All the DISH Network viewers got the pleasure of watching it in HD mode.

On Sunday night (February 13) when the nominations were announced for Grammy’s Best New Artist category all eyes were fixed on everyone’s favorite, Justin Bieber. But to an utter surprise another name was announced. She was none other than twenty six year jazz newcomer Esperanza Spalding who grabbed the prestigious award. Apart from Justin, she also put water on hopes of other much hyped nominees like Drake, Mumford & Sons and Florence and the Machine.

However people are raising doubt about Esperanza Spalding’s musical skill but in reality she is an extremely talented musician and in it there is hardly any doubt. In the year 2006 Spalding launched her first solo album, “Junjo.” After graduating from Berklee Academy of Music she became a professor and then started making her mark in jazz music industry slowly and steadily.  She was President Obama’s favorite as she was being chosen for performance at the Oslo City Hall when he accepted his Nobel Prize in the years 2009. She also got invitation of performing at poetry fest at White House. Esperanza Spalding’s Chamber Music Society” dropped in 2010 and is actually her eighth overall album that had earned her enough praise and admirations.

Guys, she has also created history for being the first jazz artist who has snatched the prestigious Best New Artist title at Grammys. Considering Stevie Wonder as one of her inspirations, Esperanza said, “I take this honor to heart so sincerely and I’ll do my damnedest to make great music for all of you. It’s such an honor and God bless,”

There were more surprises being unfurled when the names of Grammy 2011 winners had been announced. Like Album of the year went to not-so famous indie rock band Arcade Fire from Canada. The album is titled “The Suburbs.” Eminem, who had ten nods at Grammy 2011, actually won only two categories, one for best rap album and another for rap solo performance.

And there are usual winners as well. Lady Gaga got three awards- best female pop vocal performance; best short form music for album “Bad Romance” and also best pop vocal album for “The Fame Monster.” Also country musician Lady Antebellum won Grammy awards in categories namely best song, record, and country song of the year.

And Miranda Lambert opened her record of winning her first Grammy for best female country vocal performance for the album “The House That Built Me.”

Premiere of Mad Love on CBS: Special Treat from Cupid!

Come this Valentine’s Day, the day of love. To make this day of love a special one, your pick of the day will be Mad Love TV show, debuting in the midst of much hullabaloo. Airing on CBS in the time slot next to hit How I Met Your Mother, this Mad Love series catches 4 dashing New Yorkers who have developed somewhat love-hate relationships.  Tinged with wit and humor, this Mad Love CBS series have dealt with complex issues of human relationships. Is this a complex love story? Ben, a lawyer and a pessimistic lover, has done everything possible so as to build a romantic liaison with Kate. Well the Mad Love show has a narrator in Larry to tell the love and intrigues of these New Yorkers. This truly provides an extra edge in Larry’s character.

Some people suspect it to follow the hit show How I Met Your Mother, in terms of tone, one-liners and pun. However delving deep, you will see that this Mad Love 2011 has its own charm and attraction.
