FIFA World Cup 2010 Schedule for Tuesday June 15

Yet another big day for all the soccer fans! Right guys? Well of course it is! Today the viewers are going to witness the best of the shots by their favorite teams and their favorite players. The Day 5 schedule looks just great with New Zealand vs. Slovakia in Group F, followed by Ivory Coast vs. Portugal and Brazil vs. Korea DPR of Group G. So guys, whom are you going to support this time…?
Group F:
New Zealand vs. Slovakia
To begin with we have New Zealand vs. Slovakia and the match is about to start @7:00 sharp at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg.
This is New Zealand’s second world cup after 28 years since the year 1982 in Spain where they had lost all the 3 matches against Scotland, Soviet Union and Brazil. But this time they are back with a vengeance to defeat all their rival teams at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The best among the players include Chris Wood (Forward).
Coach Ricki Herbert says, “”If we can keep the percentage of chances coming and increase the percentages of those hitting the back of the net, then it will certainly stand us in good stead.”
As an independent nation this is Slovakia’s first world cup and it is a special moment for all the team members. They have been making a steady improvement in each of the qualifying matches of World Cup since their independence. The key player of Slovakia includes Marek Hamsik (Midfielder).
According to striker Stanislav Sestak, “We have nothing to lose. The fact we are participating is already a big achievement, so now we can play freely.”
Ivory Coast vs. Portugal
The next match will be taking place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth.
Well, what we can say about these two teams. They are the perfect examples of a dark horse and they are the strong contenders for the FIFA World Cup Trophy. So whom are you guys betting on?
The best among the players of Ivory Coast is Didier Drogba. He is one of the best centre forwards in the world.
Everybody’s favorite Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo (Forward) is by the best and highly recognized active player in the world.
Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson of Ivory Coast is of the opinion, “We have a lot of respect for all the teams, but I think the others have a lot of respect for us as well. We have a good team and a lot of good football players.”
Defender Bruno Alves of Portugal says, “We know all about Drogba; he is a world-class player. We know the Ivory Coast have special players in their team, but we have to think about the overall team, not just an individual.”
Group G:
Brazil vs. North Korea
The best is always preserved towards the end and it is none other than the match between Brazil vs. North Korea that will be taking place at Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg at 2:00PM EST.
Everyone’s eyes are fixed on today’s match between Brazil vs. North Korea. Brazil being the favorite of all the teams looks strong and confident as usual. The Samba Boys will do anything to defeat their opponent, the North Koreans. The North Korean team has to gear themselves up against a strong contender like Brazil. Defeating Brazil is not that easy but the North Koreans are bent upon defeating one of the world’s strongest teams at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Brazil looks great with the main striker Luis Fabiano (Forwards), the golden boot winner. And then you have Kaka as one the strongest Midfielders.
Jong Tae-Se, also known as “Asian Wayne Rooney” is the one of the key and players of North Korea. Today Jong will be up against the toughest of the defenders he has ever faced before. So Jong, we wish you all the best.
The Brazilian forward player Grafite says, “This is a dream. When I got called up for the World Cup, my wife just said, ‘You deserve what is happening to you; it’s what you fought for.”
Striker Jong Tae-Se of Korea says, “We don’t want to leave the tournament just with experience; we want to obtain all we can get in terms of goals and points when we go home.”
Well, it is quite unpredictable regarding which of the teams will be winning the match as all the teams look confident and vindictive and overall have faith in their abilities.
