NCAA Baseball D-I Tournament

Are you a die-hard baseball fans? Then there is great news for you! The NCAA Baseball D-I Tournament is kick starting today!!! The well known NCAA Baseball championship, Men’s College World Series 2010 is undoubtedly a great event for the baseball lovers. The sports event will be showcased on different sports channels on DISH Network.

64 teams from across the country will participate in this D-I NCAA Baseball tournament. These teams will compete in the regional level. These teams will be divided into 16 four team groups. There will be a double elimination tournament among each of these 4 team groups and the winning team from each group will take part in the second round which is known as the Super Regionals.

This way there will be just 16 teams emerging from the Regionals and just 8 teams from the Super Regionals. These eight teams will compete in College Baseball World Series 2010.

There are eight Pac-10 Conference teams in the tournament this season. These teams include UCLA, Arizona State, Washington State, Oregon State, Arizona, Oregon, Stanford, and California.

Which are the two most dominant teams among these eight? The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Washington State Cougars are the two most well known teams among the participants in this tournament. On the other hand, the Los Angeles Regional that has won the College World Series previous year is also participating in the tournament.
